Is there an on-boarding process?
Yes! Our CrossFit Onboarding Program provides those completely new to CrossFit the knowledge and skills to begin their health and fitness journey in CrossFit. It is designed to get you up to speed as far as movements and workouts go. We’ll teach you the foundational movements of CrossFit, plus other movements that are frequently used during workouts. You’ll also learn the language of CrossFit, meaning all the acronyms and verbiage. CrossFit involves Olympic Weightlifting, gymnastics skills, and cardio movements. We meet you where you are as far as fitness and skill level. The program runs for four weeks, meeting for one hour twice a week. The program is $59 for YMCA members.
Do you have CrossFit Teens?
Absolutely! Our CrossFit Teens program is a strength and conditioning program designed for youth ages 11-17. A parent must be present for athletes under 13. The program combines age-appropriate weightlifting and gymnastics with high intensity training to deliver optimal fitness and performance, as well as to establish a lifetime love of fitness. Under the guidance of our certified trainers, teens learn the essence of focus, perseverance, dedication, and motivation. We aim to boost self-esteem and confidence in a fun, judgement free environment surrounded by their peers. We strive to give them the strength both physically and mentally, to tackle any obstacle thrown their way inside or out of the gym.
What is Pool-WOD?
Elevate your athletic performance and recovery. Our CrossFit Pool WOD focuses on enhancing overall physical readiness and aiding in post-workout recovery. Classes include warmup, technique work, Metcon, cool down, and debrief.
What is ROM WOD?
Instructor led range of motion workout of the day. Increase range of motion, optimize athletic performance, and promote recovery, healing, and longevity.
