The YMCA of Central Virginia is committed to continually enhancing amenities and services while keeping membership and program rates as low as possible. As a YMCA member you have access to 3 local locations and nationwide membership. In addition to being good stewards of your investment, we provide the opportunity to all in our community through the Y’s donor-supported financial assistance program as well as partnering with other community agencies. We believe that every child, adult, and family deserves to participate in our life-changing programs.

The YMCA, like many businesses, has found it increasingly difficult to keep pace with the ever-rising cost of operations. To maintain our commitment to the high quality of services you deserve, the Board of Directors has found it necessary to implement an adjustment to the areas below. While the adjustment is considered minimal, we certainly understand that any increase could be impactful on limited budgets.

If your fees are paid through a monthly draft or payroll deduction, the change will be effective October 1, 2026. If you pay your fees in total each year, the increase will take effect upon your renewal. No action is required of you at this time. The YMCA of Central Virginia’s new monthly rates will be as follows:

Donor-supported financial assistance is available to those that need it. These funds are raised through the dedication of volunteer campaigners, staff, and our Board of Directors. If you are receiving financial assistance, the percentage rate of aid received will remain the same and reduce the new monthly fees.
