Our Before and After School Care program offers a safe, engaging space where kids can play, learn, and grow. As a childcare development center, we provide homework help, fun activities, and caring staff, making mornings and afternoons stress-free for parents and fun for kids.

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE Frequently Asked Questions
Registration for Before and After School program must be completed online only. YMCA staff will be at the schools on open house to receive documentation such as birth certificates, physicals, and immunization records. Click here to register online.

Our Before and After School Care program is open to children in grade levels K (must be five years old) – 5th.
You’ll need a completed registration form, your child’s physical and immunization records, and their birth certificate or passport. All documents must be submitted in person at least one week before your child’s start date.
Yes, financial aid is available through our Financial Assistance Program. Applications must be submitted with proof of income, and applications take up to 14 days to process.
To apply for financial assistance, complete a financial aid application and submit it with proof of income (e.g., tax return, recent pay stubs). Custody papers may be requested during the process.
The weekly cost is $60 for before school care, $70 for after school care, and $80 for both. A one-time registration fee of $50 per child (up to $75 per family) is required.
We offer the program at Amelon Elementary, Amherst Elementary, Bedford Hills Elementary, and Sandusky Elementary.
