The YMCA of Central Virginia is known for our wide selection of swim lessons. We offer swim classes for infants, kids, teenagers, and adults. Choose from weekday, evening, and weekend classes all year long.

Keep kids active and engaged while building confidence and skills. From soccer to basketball, we offer a fun, supportive way for kids to stay moving, make friends, and learn teamwork. It’s all about healthy habits and active play that lasts a lifetime.

We provide free Child Watch for kids while you focus on your fitness! Our Kidz Gym offers fun activities for ages 5-12, while Child Watch caters to little ones 8 weeks to 5 years old. Parents can enjoy up to 2 hours of worry-free workouts!

The Little Scholars Academy is a preschool where children explore their creativity and curiosity through hands-on learning. Our program, designed for ages 2.5 – 5, uses a fun, interactive curriculum to prepare kids for kindergarten, building confidence and a love for learning.

Our Mini Summer Camps focus on sports like soccer, basketball, and flag football, while our popular Summer Day Camps offer themed weeks full of adventures. From sports to creativity, every kid will want to be a Y Kid this summer!
